Notice to the Market – Termination of Market Maker Contract

Rio de Janeiro, August 29, 2013 – Banco BTG Pactual S.A. («Bank») and BTG Pactual Participations Ltd («BTGP» and, jointly with the Bank, the «Companies»), in compliance with CVM Rule 358 of January 3, 2002, as amended, hereby inform their respective shareholders and the securities market, pursuant to CVM Rule 384 of March 17, 2003, of the termination of the contract with XP INVESTIMENTOS CORRETORA DE CÂMBIO, TÍTULOS E VALORES MOBILIÁRIOS S.A., a company with headquarters at Avenida das Américas n.º 3434, Bloco 7, 2º floor, suites 201 to 208, part, Barra da Tijuca, Zip Code 22631-003, in the city and state of Rio de Janeiro, with the taxpayer number 02.332.886/0001-04, to act as the market maker for the units trading under the symbol BBTG11 on the São Paulo Stock Market (BM&FBOVESPA S.A. – Bolsa de Valores, Mercadorias e Futuros).

Pursuant to the 30 days prior notice period required under the contract, such service shall be terminated as of September 29, 2013.
