Rio de Janeiro, July 31, 2015 – BANCO BTG PACTUAL S.A. (“BTGP”) announces that became a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), an initiative developed by large institutional investors and other financial market participants in favor of responsible investment.

The PRI is a voluntary initiative and is based on six principles that value social, environmental and corporate governance (ESG) aspects when conducting investments. The principles offer a wide range of actions, allowing the signatories adopt processes in line with their asset management framework to enable the responsible / sustainable investment practices.

Currently, the PRI network has 1,380 signatories worldwide, consolidating the largest Asset Owners, Investment Managers and Service Providers, which together detain USD 59 trillion in assets under management.

BTG Pactual´s adhesion to PRI meets a crescent market demand, mainly from foreign institutional investors, confirming our long-term ambition by reinforcing our commitment to responsible and sustainable development.
