Notice to the Market – Transaction Closing

São Paulo, August 10, 2016 – Banco BTG Pactual S.A. (“BTG Pactual”), in continuation to the notice to the market disclosed on July 11, 2016, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, in relation to the non-binding proposal entered by BTG Pactual for the potential acquisition of BANIF – Banco Internacional do Funchal (Brasil) S.A. and other assets of the Banif Portugal group and Oitante S.A. (“Proposal”), it has ended the negotiations involving the transactions comprised therein given that the conditions precedent in the Proposal have not been satisfied.
